Great concerns were demonstrated by the congregation during the three prophetic question and answer session held at New Life Church in Batson, Texas. On this month’s DVD, you will see people in tears and under heavy conviction. When the topic came up about seeking a psychic for a reading, many were not aware of the curse that attaches itself to those who seek out prophetic knowledge from a psychic. Even when it is just for fun, there is a spiritual law that can render judgment that is no laughing matter.

If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it a great thing if we reap your material things? If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more? I Cor. 9:11,12

The good news is that if you receive a curse for giving a psychic money for a reading, then just the opposite should occur when you give a minister of the gospel an offering for a word from God.

On another topic, the question comes up about a psychic being a spirit-filled Christian now how do we handle that? Prior to the recording of the DVD I told the congregation that years ago I had led the charge to come against the psychics in Hawaii over a weekly television program that aired in 7 states including Hawaii. As those programs were being aired a trio of psychics came to one the churches where I was ministering and asked me not to be so hard on them that they were doing a good service for the people. I was not moved by what they had to say, so I continued on with the crusade. Now, a couple of years went by and the Lord called upon me to find these three psychics and ask them to forgive me and the entire body of Christ. I was shocked that our Lord would ask this of me, but without hesitation I started my search. When I asked for their forgiveness I found out they were at one time part of the church but were kicked out because of their gift of prophecy. Not all psychics are operating by the spirit of Christ. Therefore, it is wise to know the person by their testimony how they were saved, born again and baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Even prophets of God are not welcome in most churches today.

Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. I Cor. 12:27,28
