Prophetic Expectations
Part 3 - Hide & Seek
It is important to find God’s will in your life. We were all once lost and then God came and said “Tag, I found you. You are it. Now you can find me. Hide & Seek. Seek me and I shall be found. It won’t be easy but seek me.”
He has all of these hiding places and you have to find him And when you find him, He will tell you what you have to do. When you do what He says, you will be blessed every time. There is a lot to Christianity, however, if you pray, hear and obey, it will become simple. Things begin to work out and fall into place. When God begins to move, you just get right behind Him and the devil can’t touch you. That is where we all need to be in this life. When God leads, He will take you to a place better than where you are at now. Sometimes you may think He has left you in the wilderness but it is only the way to get to the promise land. There are no short cut. Our thick headedness and our self will determines how long it will take to get through the wilderness.
Each of us has a cross to bear. It is not a fun thing to die to the flesh. But the measure of our cross will be determined by the thickness of your self-will. Some of us have big, huge crosses and we fight it every inch of the way. But we will get there one way or another. You may have to go through it with all kinds of whipping before you get there. When you get there is will be ok. However if instead, you suck it up and just go through it, it is a lot less painful.
Jesus also discover this when he was hanging on the cross. The other two hanging on the cross were still alive when Jesus was out of there. When He gave up His spirit, they did not have to break His legs like the other two. Actually, Jesus died at Gethsemane. It was at Gethsemane that Jesus asked the Father if there was another way in which people can get saved and into heaven. But there was no other way. Jesus had to go through the pain of the cross and be resurrected. This is when Jesus surrendered. He submitted. He knew His destiny. He knew what He had to go through. He went through it knowing it was not going to be easy. Jesus died there and He paid the price.
Many people died horribly but the difference is that Jesus went into the bowels of the earth where he paid for our debts. During that three day period, he took upon himself the eternal damnation of all our sins. No wonder his disciples did not recognize Jesus when he returned. Then Jesus went to glory and returned cleaned. They knew he was the one, the Messiah. No other religion or belief has what we have.
There is life after death. We should not fear death because of the promise that there is no sting in death. It is the living that is the sting! It is the spirit that lives in your body. It is the spirit that is eternal. The body has a limited time. When we past out of this life, it is no different than being born from the womb. Get a grip! This life isn’t it. It is the life to come which we should be living for because we cannot imagine what it will be like in the Kingdom of Heaven. It is a million times better than this life. There is no disease or pain or suffering. No divorce. No rejection. No pink slips. You will live and help build the kingdom. You will be part of ruling and reigning a kingdom of eternity. Put in your application now for the highest position you can get in Kingdom of Heaven. Don’t wait! Apply for the best job, go for the best.
What is amazing is that the least is the greatest. The one who receives glory on earth receives less in heaven. If God asked you to do one thing in your whole life and you do it, you are “in” for eternity because obedience is what it is all about. If you reject him, He will reject you. To believe in Jesus Christ is more than believing Jesus lived, died and was raised from the dead because even demons believed and feared and trembled. The difference is in the obedience. Be sure it is Jesus you are listening to. Get confirmation because Satan comes like an angel of light. He will try to trick you. He even tried to trick Jesus. Get confirmation. Know God’s way and His thoughts. The Bible is our tuning fork. Measure the word you receive with scripture and get confirmation from others who knows God.
