Jesus is Equipping the Saints with Spiritual Gifts through Prophecy and Handkerchiefs (1 Timothy 4:14)
It has been years since I rode the first spiritual wave God sent, way back in the 80’s. Though time has passed, I will never forget those times; the good, the bad and the ugly moments are forever ingrained in my memory. However, it is only the good that I want to focus on today.
Even though times then were really tough and trouble seemed to be brewing at every turn in my life, the trials and tribulations are what pushed me into God’s storm. The only fear I had then was the fear of the Lord, nothing more. Creditors were threatening, legal matters were turning against me, my marriage was appearing to be coming to an end, but I was riding on God’s Wave and nothing could touch me.
Every day I jumped out of bed excited to see what God was going to do next. My first stop each morning was breakfast with the boys at the Full Gospel Businessmen Meeting. Back then in the Dallas/Fort Worth area there were at least a dozen or more breakfast meetings scattered across the metroplex.
After breakfast I was off to a Church gathering, sometimes a full-blown conference other times just a handful of folks joining in devotion. My next stop was lunch at another Full Gospel Businessmen Meeting, and I usually invited someone to go with me to experience the testimony and power of the Holy Spirit. After lunch I set aside time for my own personal Bible study and prayer, soaking in as much of God as I could. As if sunbathing on the beach, I opened myself up to His waves of omnipotent wisdom and spiritual understanding. These sacred waves flooded me with His love.
I discovered that one of the most spiritual things I could do after studying was to take a nap. I would allow God into my unconscious mind as I closed my eyes and kept my spirit focused on him. When I arose, I was off to dinner at yet another Full Gospel Businessmen Meeting to hear another wonderful testimony of how the Holy Spirit delivered someone’s soul from the claws of Satan. If the dinner was short enough I could drive over to one of the many Church gatherings and catch the tail end of the service. Those were the days that filled me with great expectation and led me to where I am today.
Don’t count these days in which we now live as too dark for His light to penetrate. It is all the more reason to be excited about how much bigger this next wave is going to be. God is moving, and I want to be on the next wave HE is sending out. His immanent storm will take back all the devil has stolen.
Many of you have been praying for your healing but have not seen results. Do not give up just yet, for everything is beginning to change. We have come through a long dry spell, and we now are beginning to see the breakthrough we have all sought. Many in the ministry feel they have been put on a shelf, waiting for God to release His healing power. It is very exciting to see God gracing His church with miraculous healings of all kinds. Just two years ago I took my wife to River of Life Christian Center in Rusk, Texas because their email flyer indicated that they were coming against arthritis. Debbie had been battling for many years with this crippling disease.
To our surprise, Debbie was not only miraculously healed of rheumatoid arthritis but also fibromyalgia and two other afflictions that caused her great discomfort. These are four major diseases God totally destroyed, and we only came seeking deliverance from one. Now, I have prayed many times for my wife’s healing. Many ministers and preachers have been praying over Debbie for years too, so why all of a sudden is she healed of all these painful infirmities? The glorious answer is the HOLY SPIRIT IS NOW MOVING, and it is time to jump in and receive your miracle healings.
History has proven that with every tragedy our Nation has encountered our Heavenly Father has always been faithful to meet it with signs and wonders. He truly is the great I AM, and He is waiting for you to say you are ready to receive His healing touch in exchange for your sickness.
“Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness” (Acts 4:29-31).
In the summer of 1989, my weekly routine involved going to the early morning prayer breakfast each Friday. As usual, I was the first to show up, and since I had a key to the building I started to make the coffee. After a couple of cups of coffee I wondered if anyone was going to show up.
I watched the clock tick away for twenty minutes, and still no one had shown. Then, I caught sight of an 18 wheeler slowly pulling up at the curb. The driver sat in his truck for a minute then headed toward the building. I greeted the grizzly looking man, asked his name and invited him in for a cup of coffee. He had never been to any of our prayer breakfast meetings and didn’t know any members of our church. As I waited a few minutes for others to show, the trucker began to tell me about his life.
He was suffering from various addictions and was on the verge of a divorce. His father was an alcoholic, as well as his brothers, who were always in conflict with one another. A short time later a couple of the regular members showed up, and as we prepared to pray for the trucker the Lord told me to take out my handkerchief and have everyone grab a corner; as we did the presence of the Holy Spirit filled us.
The trucker gave his life to Jesus; when he did, his countenance immediately began to change before our eyes. I instructed the trucker to take the handkerchief with him and tell his entire family what had happened. A few months went by and one Sunday morning I was surprised to see the once beaten down soul now dressed in a suit and tie with his wife and children at his side.
After the sermon was delivered he asked if he could testify. The trucker told of his father and brothers being totally delivered of drug and alcohol abuse and how they gave their lives to Jesus. He still had the handkerchief with him. As the congregation filed out of the building, he came to me and gave my handkerchief back. As to say, thank you, a tear ran down his face; we shook hands farewell and thanked God together. “Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them”(Acts 19:11-12).

Four Prayer cloths;
Thank you — that answer helps a lot; we ordered four prayer cloths as we want to share them with others. My hubby has psoriasis & we are putting some natural oils on him which is helping relieve the itching & the peeling of his skin (has it on about 75% of his body & taking natural vitamin/mineral supplements to help heal his liver). We are speaking out scriptures every day from the book, Proving God for his healing. We are also believing for healing of my diabetes & osteoarthritis. My hubby received a prophecy from Pastor Simpson who prophesied that John Stephen would be used by the Lord to heal others. One man was already healed by reading the scriptures out loud that we shared with him from Dr. Sandra Kennedy’s book, Proving God. Our God is a mighty powerful God and we are grateful He has saved u thru Jesus & filled us with His Holy Spirit & lives in us. We both are former Catholics & God led us out of the Catholic church. We both are in our early 60’s (but still young at heart & do not look our age) & ask God to make us a blessing to someone today & encourage people to break curse, sever evil soul ties, do spiritual house cleaning & learn about deliverance & we do deliverance if the need arises. 🙂

What is Prophetic Counseling?
There is a difference between receiving Prophetic Counseling vs. Personal Prophecy.
When giving prophetic guidance and counseling it helps to know more about the person. The difference is when you receive a prophetic word from God He is telling you what He wants to say. When I am ministering in prophetic counseling He is giving me answers to what you need to know and what to do in order to receive the results you are looking for. When emailing or visiting over the phone most of the time God gives me the answers within seconds, if they are warranted questions. My understanding of this scripture below is different than what the Word of Faith movement taught me:
“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
Anytime I am with someone or chatting via email or other ways I am listening to what God has to say. The is a totally different understanding of this verse rather than what Word of Faith has been teaching over the years; “Whatever we agree upon it will come to pass” one major flaw is the one person left out of this formula, GOD!
The partnership level between being a Prophecy Partner and that of being a Family Partner are different and one does not automatically cover the requested offering for the other.

In the past, I spent much of my time traveling to other countries, but ministering in distant places left me drained. I have decided to hang up my traveling shoes and focus upon those families who regularly support this ministry. It is time for me to develop long term relationships with the people who have a real desire to learn more about what God is doing today.

Receiving Your Personal Prophecy
Though a prophet may receive a monetary blessing when giving a person a word from God, he is not to be mistaken for a hireling. A prophet who is a hireling will give a false prophecy at the request of his financial provider for monetary gain.
In contrast to these false prophets, there are men of God who desire to only speak God’s words and to reveal God’s plans for the people. These men receive their spiritual blessing from God and their financial blessing from God’ people.
Old Testament Times
In the Old Testament we find that the Lord commanded Samuel, a prophet of God, to prophesy over a young man who would be coming his way around lunchtime. The Lord indicated that this young man’s name was Saul and he would be looking for his father’s lost donkeys.

Today’s Spiritual Guidance
As it was in the Old Testament it is today; it is not evil to seek a prophet for spiritual guidance or direction from God.

Then Saul’s servant said, “Look, I have here at hand one fourth of a shekel of silver. I will give that to the man of God, to tell us our way.”

In this and other scriptures throughout the Bible, God has shown us that we must support his prophets. These men of old had conviction that they must bless the prophet, Samuel, for his intercession. God wants His people to be cheerful in giving.
