At the Mount of Transfiguration, Jesus was transformed into His glory. Then Elijah and Moses appeared with Jesus and stood before Peter, James and John, who were referred to as the “Sons of Thunder.” The message proclaimed by Jesus, Moses and Elijah to the Sons of Thunder is one regarding Jesus becoming the final sacrifice to redeem mankind from all sin.

The Sons of Thunder were so overwhelmed with the experience that Peter proclaimed the place holy and wanted to build three Tabernacles, one for Elijah, one for Moses and one for Jesus. Then a cloud came over them and they were taken up into the cloud as the disciples heard the Father say, “This is my beloved son with whom I am well pleased. Hear him” (Luke 9:23-36).

It appears that the Sons of Thunder missed the point of this miraculous experience. Our heavenly Father was not interested in them constructing a building to memorialize the moment.

They also indicate a measure of deafness by not focusing on what Jesus was saying about His coming crucifixion for the sins of the world. Because of their lack of insight, our Father comes into the picture and basically tells them; “Did you not hear the message? Do you not understand that it’s all about My Son, Jesus? HEAR HIM!”

Far too often today we get so caught up in the miraculous moment that we overlook the message being highlighted by our supernatural event. The focus should always be on the message, The Word. Jesus is the Word of God and was the reason for the miracle on Mount Transfiguration. We often make the same mistake as the Sons of Thunder and find ourselves falling into the same mindset. We sometimes are focusing on and talking about the miracles rather than the one the miracle is about. Just as the Sons of Thunder wanted to immediately go and erect a building after their supernatural encounter, we too seem to redirect the purpose of the encounter to something other than what it is meant to be.

When you receive a personal prophecy, your mind may have a tendency to begin focusing on what you want to see and hear rather than how Jesus wants to use you to build His kingdom. Today our heavenly Father is still ruling and reigning from above. With every prophetic word He sends by His Spirit, He is building something bigger than just you. He is preparing His Church and equipping His people with spiritual gifts, empowering them to awaken this lost and wayward world through signs and wonders.

“Then Jesus said to him, ‘Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe'” (John 4:48).

As soon as your prophecy has been delivered and you know how our Father is going to use you, begin to study and pray, ask the Holy Spirit to teach you how to move in His power. As you begin to fulfill His purpose through whatever spiritual gift and calling He has imparted, you need not to forget this one very important part. The entire purpose for you being a source of God’s power and supernatural force on earth is to glorify Jesus, not to entertain the church. Once a miracle encounter has been demonstrated through you, there should be a message of Jesus that gives honor to Him for what He has done for all of us.

“And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit” (2 Peter 1:19-21).

Ask not what Jesus can do for you, but rather ask our heavenly Father what you can do for His Son!

What is Prophetic Counseling?

There is a difference between receiving Prophetic Counseling vs. Personal Prophecy.

When giving prophetic guidance and counseling it helps to know more about the person. The difference is when you receive a prophetic word from God He is telling you what He wants to say. When I am ministering in prophetic counseling He is giving me answers to what you need to know and what to do in order to receive the results you are looking for. In the past, I spent much of my time traveling to other countries, but ministering in distant places left me drained. I have decided to hang up my traveling shoes and focus upon those families who regularly support this ministry. Receiving Your Personal Prophecy

Though a prophet may receive a monetary blessing when giving a person a word from God, he is not to be mistaken for a hireling. A prophet who is a hireling will give a false prophecy at the request of his financial provider for monetary gain.

In contrast to these false prophets, there are men of God who desire to only speak God’s words and to reveal God’s plans for the people. These men receive their spiritual blessing from God and their financial blessing from God’ people.

Old Testament Times

In the Old Testament we find that the Lord commanded Samuel, a prophet of God, to prophesy over a young man who would be coming his way around lunchtime. The Lord indicated that this young man’s name was Saul and he would be looking for his father’s lost donkeys.

Today’s Spiritual Guidance

As it was in the Old Testament it is today; it is not evil to seek a prophet for spiritual guidance or direction from God.

In this and other scriptures throughout the Bible, God has shown us that we must support his prophets. These men of old had conviction that they must bless the prophet, Samuel, for his intercession. God wants His people to be cheerful in giving.

A prophetic message will include one or more of the following:

Continuing with last week’s article “The Angel Spoke to Me,” you may recall I had finally found God, His revelation and the answer to why everything in my life was falling apart. He had sent me an angel that I mistook to be a demon and ran him off. The angel spoke to me these words, “I will tell you what you need to know and I will prosper you.” Knowing that I needed a plan on how to make repentance and get the angel back into my ministry to see the fulfillment of the verse in Hebrews 1:13, 14, God graciously allowed me the insight of what I needed to do. I was to go the Tabernacle and preach to the angels until I got a word of prophecy for myself.

“But to which of the angels has He ever said: ‘Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool?’ Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:13, 14 (NKJV)).

I had been doing a lot of studying on angels after this experience. I figured if they are sent to us from God we best know something about them. My theory was that God’s angels could always be found wherever God’s people gathered. Scripture reveals that whatever the Lord spoke in heaven will manifest on earth as it is written:

“Your kingdom come. Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

All I had to do was speak whatever He was saying from heaven and His angels would have to come and fulfill His word. The Angelic hosts of God have been commanded to do His will on earth, as it has been proclaimed in heaven. This is a huge breakthrough for the body of Christ. If you can find God and His Word and you speak His word on earth as it has been spoken from the throne of God His angels will implement His Word.

“Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His Word, heeding the voice of His Word” (Psalm 103:20 (NKJV)).

It does not matter who is speaking what has been sent down from heaven. If His Word is proclaimed; then everything will change, for His angels will do His Work.

With that in mind and the tape recorder in hand, with the sound system live throughout the sanctuary, I began to preach the message from my heart. Not seeing one angel sitting in the pews, I continued to preach as if the room was packed out. Finally, His Word came, delivered by the angel that had been appointed unto me a few years prior, ascending and descending from His throne delivering His Prophetic Word for whosoever is in need of a Word from God. This night the Word was for ME!

Satisfied that I had my Word of Prophecy, I shut everything off and went home. I left the Tabernacle knowing in my Spirit it was finished. I had done all that I could do; it was time to sit back and patiently wait upon His angels to fulfill His word. Two weeks had gone by and we still had faith that His Word was going to work for us. Then the day finally came.

During the autumn of 1993, a middle aged man in a suit and tie knocked on our door. He introduced himself; I remember his first name was Harold. I invited him into our humble little home and he sat down. Without hesitation he began to state his reason for coming to visit us without much introduction. He asked if I knew of a list of men who I had played high school football with and said he represented them. We talked about each one and shared fond memories of the “good ole days.” Then he got to the point of his coming as he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a check for $50,000.00. I was floored, needless to say, utterly shocked.

Allow me to fill in a few blanks here. You see my wife and I had been involved in a multi-automobile accident some years prior. We, along with a few others were in a lawsuit to collect our losses; however our attorney dropped the case. We still had before us huge medical bills and lost wages. Every day was a struggle to get by. With pain in our bodies and financial burdens screaming at us, we thought maybe this, too, was part of the curse for rejecting God’s angel of prosperity.

As for Harold, well, he had worked for the attorney before he was laid off along with the case load. The lead attorney had decided to run for Texas State Congress, leaving me without representation and Harold without job, so Harold took it upon himself to pick up our insurance claim without us knowing anything about it. He then began working on the insurance company to do the right thing. For over two years he had meetings with the company insuring the person who caused the mass collision. Getting nowhere, he began calling upon some of the fellows whom I had played football with and they all began to get involved to help Harold, behind the scene. I had not spoken to any of the old football players since high school, except for one. When I was in banking I had helped him in his campaign. He was running for the Lieutenant Governor’s job in Oklahoma; his name is Jack Mildren. I recall that he was a very persuasive man and usually got what he wanted. We had played football together in high school, but the years that followed had taken us down different paths, so we didn’t talk much.

The measure of each man’s participation in this act of faith and grace was never revealed so I was not sure to whom to give my thanks. My prayer was that each man be greatly rewarded for his obedience in following the leading of the Holy Spirit who demonstrated the abundance of God’s love. It always amazes me who God will call upon to move mountains for you when you allow Him to do so. A mountain was being moved for my wife and I, and we had no idea what our Lord was doing for us. We thought we were stuck in a rut and nothing was going to change. We were wrong, for God had heard our prayer. Don’t give up and you will have yours, too. Diligently seeking God does pay off. It was evident the angel that God had originally sent to me, that I had mistakenly run off, was back. The evidence can be found in the favor of God’s unrelenting love and grace. From that time forward, this ministering spirit has been there for this ministry many times over. Maybe I will share again on my angelic encounters if you are interested in hearing more.

Receiving Your Personal Prophecy

Though a prophet may receive a monetary blessing when giving a person a word from God, he is not to be mistaken for a hireling. A prophet who is a hireling will give a false prophecy at the request of his financial provider for monetary gain.

In contrast to these false prophets, there are men of God who desire to only speak God’s words and to reveal God’s plans for the people. These men receive their spiritual blessing from God and their financial blessing from God’ people.

Old Testament Times

In the Old Testament we find that the Lord commanded Samuel, a prophet of God, to prophesy over a young man who would be coming his way around lunchtime. The Lord indicated that this young man’s name was Saul and he would be looking for his father’s lost donkeys.

Today’s Spiritual Guidance

As it was in the Old Testament it is today; it is not evil to seek a prophet for spiritual guidance or direction from God.

In this and other scriptures throughout the Bible, God has shown us that we must support his prophets. These men of old had conviction that they must bless the prophet, Samuel, for his intercession. God wants His people to be cheerful in giving.

A prophetic message will include one or more of the following:

“Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him” (Hebrews 2:1-3 NKJV).

Being blessed to have experienced a number of angelic encounters along this wonderful journey with our Lord and Savior, it is time to share a few select stories with you. Once an angel appeared to me, and for the first time I heard an angel speak to me in an and audible voice.

I was in my study, busy straightening up all of the books and magazines that I had been learning from during that week, when all of sudden a form started taking shape in my doorway. It is rather difficult to explain how it took shape, but if you remember the popular TV series “Star Trek” it was similar to how they were “beamed up” by Scotty. It did not take long for all the shifting pieces to fill in the empty space that quickly became the form of the angel.

He was so tall I could not see his face, hidden behind the top part of the door casing. He did move but not very much; he just straightened up a little after he completed his transformation. I was scared and didn’t know if this was an angel from God or a demon taking on the appearance of an angel. Then he spoke to me saying, “I will tell you what you need to know and I will prosper you.” When I heard his message, I felt almost certain that I was dealing with a demon. You see, back then my doctrine was much different than now and I did not believe that ministers were to have anything, especially money. I thought the poorer you were the more spiritual you became. Anytime we had more than we needed for a day or so we gave it away lest it find a way into our hearts. Without consulting God, I raised my voice, stuck out my pointed finger and rebuked the presence. With that, he vanished faster than he had appeared.

Immediately, I began pulling all my ministry books and bibles out and began preparing a message entitled “The Spirit of Divination.” The message started with this verse:

“Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling” (Acts 16:16).

You see, I knew this scripture well because I had been leading a campaign coming against the 900 number psychics, and I just knew this had to be the same spirit that contacted me. I was determined to keep him out and chase him far away from me.

At the time we had a Saturday morning radio program, and I preached against that foul spirit live over the radio. That night I was scheduled to preach a conference at the Dallas Convention Hall by the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, imparting the second part of the series. The next morning, I preached the third and final sermon completing the three part series. After we had the series complete and nicely package we began to offer the series in our newsletter.

A few weeks had gone by and we started losing many of our supporters, and with their departure we lost money needed to pay our bills. This all happened in 1993, just before Thanksgiving. We were flat broke with no food. Attendance in our little church was dwindling, and I was forced to go to the local food bank just so we could have a few groceries. My wife had recently given birth to little Savannah and we were getting quite scared. Of course, I had been praying my heart out to God for answers, but the heavens seemed to be closed up. After one of our evening services as I was walking across the parking lot, God spoke. He said, “If you are going to preach about demons then let the demons support you; I called you to preach about hearing Me and My messages.” That was all I needed to know, so I thought.

The next morning I told God I would destroy the master tapes to this message about the spirit of divination and call everyone who had purchased the set and ask them to destroy their set of tapes, too. I began to plead with Him to help me, and after a day or two He spoke these words, “I sent you the one to help you and you ran him off.” I knew then I had messed up big time.

Preparing myself I started doing a lot of studying on angels; especially after this experience. I figured if they are sent to us from God we best know something about them. One night I lay awake in our bed musing before the Holy Spirit, looking for a way I could get this angel back. Suddenly, I had a plan. You know how when you walk by a place where there is known evil activity going on and you can feel the presence of demons? Well, this was my theory that if demons hang in these types of places then angels must hang around places where God’s people gather. It was four o’clock in the morning, and I jumped out of the bed. I woke my wife and told her I was going to the Tabernacle. She wanted to know why but fell back to sleep as I excitedly began telling her about my plan.

I had no idea if this was going to work, but I was bound and determined to find out. I knew that if I could get a word of prophecy for myself the angels would have to “do His Word”.When I got to the Tabernacle, I rummaged around in the office looking for a blank tape because I wanted to have a copy of my prophecy. As I made my way to the pulpit where the tape recording system was, I inserted the blank tape and pressed record… to be continued next week.

“Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word” (Psalm 103:20).

What is Prophetic Counseling?

There is a difference between receiving Prophetic Counseling vs. Personal Prophecy.

When giving prophetic guidance and counseling it helps to know more about the person. The difference is when you receive a prophetic word from God He is telling you what He wants to say. When I am ministering in prophetic counseling He is giving me answers to what you need to know and what to do in order to receive the results you are looking for. When emailing or visiting over the phone most of the time God gives me the answers within seconds, if they are warranted questions. My understanding of this scripture below is different than what the Word of Faith movement taught me:

“Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels” (Hebrews 13:2).

Many of you know that I have had a real craving for motorcycles for most of my life. We all agree that riding motorcycles is a risky endeavor. Each time my friends and I got together to go riding we referred to the activity as going to dodge cars, which is a large part of the sport. Riding a motorcycle on a crowded interstate is like running with the bulls. Many times I have been in tight spots, but each time God’s favor kept me from a serious accident.

One summer in 2001 I was working on my favorite motorcycle on the license plate I had her name engraved “Lady Bug”. She was a customized red and black 2000 Honda Valkyrie. I had just received a package from UPS, and I knew it had to be my new highway pegs, made for stretching out your legs and resting your feet while riding on the highway. After I had installed them, I thought I needed to go and try them out. I had a number of different routes I had created over the years, and this one needed to be a long ride with lots of curves. I chose the Lake Worth route, a curvy narrow road with loads of trees. I headed out to make sure that when I took the curves that my pegs did not drag on the pavement, at least that was my excuse for riding one more time before the day was over.

As I exited off the interstate, making my way around the lake, I noticed that my left peg was grinding the pavement on each turn. At one sharp curve I decided to look down and see how much I needed to adjust it to keep it off the road. Anyone who rides motorcycles knows the rule: wherever you look is where your motorcycle will go. You guessed it, since I was looking down my bike and I were going down. When I finally realized I had messed up it was almost too late; very quickly, I overcorrected my error and I landed in the ditch. When it was all over I found myself flat on my back with 750 pounds of hot metal on top of me. Fortunately, the ground was sandy and soft from a recent rain, which kept the bike from crushing me; however, I was not able to get out from under its weight.

Lying there with my leg burning from the exhaust pipes, I began to assess the fact that I needed help. This lake road was not well traveled, but, fortunately, in just a few minutes I heard a car coming around the corner. Slowing down, the driver very quickly rolled down the window then this nice lady asked if she needed to go for help. Embarrassed and still not ready to let go of my pride I thanked her but declined her assistance. I kept trying to dig my way out, but it was just not enough to get free. Then another lady stopped and said she had a mobile phone and she could call for help; once again I declined.

Finally, I gave in and prayed these exact words: “Lord, I need a hand. Please help me get out of here.” In just a few seconds, a jeep came around the bend and a small fellow stuck his head out and asked if I needed help. Without hesitation I said, YES! As he walked toward me I noticed he only had one arm; I thought to myself how is he going to help me? Then I remembered what I had prayed. I immediately began laughing out loud. He started chuckling, asking me what I thought was so funny. I told him I had just said a prayer asking the Lord to send me a hand and then you came around the corner with one arm. We both laughed for a few seconds and then everything got really eerie and foggy; time seemed to just speed up, and in just 2 or 3 seconds I was standing outside of the ditch holding up my motorcycle. After gaining my bearings, I turned to thank the fellow for helping me, but he was already driving away. How could this little man with one arm pull up a 750 pound motorcycle out of a ditch? There seemed to be no way! I do not remember him pulling on the bike off me or even getting up off the ground. I believe you will agree with me that this is God revealing his great measure of divine humor by sending a one armed angel after I prayed asking Him to send me a hand.

I have been blessed with a few other angelic encounters in my life. I recall once an angel appeared to me and then spoke. I was in my study, busy straightening up and picking up books and magazines that I had been studying when, all of sudden, a form started taking shape in my doorway… to be continued next week

Dear Kent. This is a praise report and an update. I have good news about my aunt Johanna. I appreciate very much your precious prayers for her. The Lord has given her more life for a time! She has no more pneumonia and her kidneys-values have come down from 400 to 100! I have paid a visit to her during three days and during two latter days Johanna herself prayed loud and cleared the following prayer after me: “Dear Jesus. I come now to Your cross. Jesus, I believe that You bore all my sins on the cross at Calvary. You, Jesus died crucified for my sins on the cross at Calvary. Jesus I confess to You my sins. Thank You Jesus that You forgive all my sins. Jesus washed me with Your blood from all my sins. Jesus, I believe that You rose from the dead on third day and You live now and forever. Jesus, come now to live into my heart. I want that You, Jesus are my Lord and God. I confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord, who was born from the Virgin Mary and is the Son of God. Thank You Jesus for my salvation. AMEN.”

When Johanna had prayed this prayer during both two latter days, I asked her who owns you now. She answered during both two latter days: Jesus´, in other words I belong to Jesus who now owns my life. It so wonderful that my aunt Johanna found Jesus at so high age as 93 years old.

Greetings to you in the name of Jesus our precious Lord and Savior; how are you doing?

I want to share something with you. I wrote to you asking that you pray with my husband and myself regarding the demon possessed neighbor who boast his devotion and love for Satan he curses God through his continued profanities (God is not damned) he hates us because we are born again blood washed children of the Most High King Jesus and we are both ministers of the gospel. His hatred against God towards us is deep and daily we are concerned about our safety and our home. You sent to us this response to our request for prayer.

Anyone who has rejected Moses law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said. Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord, And again. The Lord will judge His people.” (Hebrews 10:28-30)

Endure just a little longer and Satan will turn against his own and you shall be free of the son of the tormentor.

The Lord lead us to send a letter to the Son of the elderly 74 years old man a copy to his landlord and Police Officer on July 21 asking them to stop the father from his harassment’s and attacks against us and please get him a mental evaluation. Exactly 2 months to the day September 21 the old man ran up to our car cursing us (as before) this time he pulled out a knife we got away before we got hurt. The police took him to jail he remained the weekend his son bailed him out. We live so close to their house and we are asking once again if you would pray that something would transpire within this man that he would be placed somewhere for a mental evaluation. He is dangerous and the law is more concerned about his rights rather than our safety. The law want act unless he hurts someone or hurts himself. We are asking the Lord to remove the restraints from this man that his mental illness will come out full blown (but no one gets hurts) but he would demonstrate full force to the extent that he is committed. Would you pray with us in agreement?

What is Prophetic Counseling?

There is a difference between receiving Prophetic Counseling vs. Personal Prophecy.

When giving prophetic guidance and counseling it helps to know more about the person. The difference is when you receive a prophetic word from God He is telling you what He wants to say. When I am ministering in prophetic counseling He is giving me answers to what you need to know and what to do in order to receive the results you are looking for. In the past, I spent much of my time traveling to other countries, but ministering in distant places left me drained. I have decided to hang up my traveling shoes and focus upon those families who regularly support this ministry. Receiving Your Personal Prophecy

Though a prophet may receive a monetary blessing when giving a person a word from God, he is not to be mistaken for a hireling. A prophet who is a hireling will give a false prophecy at the request of his financial provider for monetary gain.

In contrast to these false prophets, there are men of God who desire to only speak God’s words and to reveal God’s plans for the people. These men receive their spiritual blessing from God and their financial blessing from God’ people.

Old Testament Times

In the Old Testament we find that the Lord commanded Samuel, a prophet of God, to prophesy over a young man who would be coming his way around lunchtime. The Lord indicated that this young man’s name was Saul and he would be looking for his father’s lost donkeys.

Today’s Spiritual Guidance

As it was in the Old Testament it is today; it is not evil to seek a prophet for spiritual guidance or direction from God.

In this and other scriptures throughout the Bible, God has shown us that we must support his prophets. These men of old had conviction that they must bless the prophet, Samuel, for his intercession. God wants His people to be cheerful in giving.

After ministering for more than two years in Norway, prophesying live over their state-owned television station and ministering in many of the churches within the Scandinavian countries I succumbed to exhaustion. I was in need of a break, so I began taking different associate ministers with me, holding multiple services, and ministering jointly over various radio and television stations.

On one of my visits to Norway, in winter of 1996, I scheduled David Bowman, who ministered in the gift of healings, on one of a number of services in Norway and Sweden.

As David was ministering I went up to the second level of the balcony to get some rest and prepare for my sermon. While David was attempting to deliver his message, I noticed an older well-dressed man standing in front of the stage. He kept reaching up and pulling on David’s pant leg. With each tug, the man would shout out a series of slurred questions.

David was doing his best to ignore the man but it was of no use. Fed up and confused, David started calling me out of the crowed saying, “Kent will you come and take this man out and get him saved?”

I was tired, but I knew something had to be done, so I made my way down to the front of the stage and invited the man into the hallway. He began to spout out his questions to me and he informed me that he was a medical doctor and did not believe in divine healing. I invited the drunken doctor to come sit with me. I answered many of his questions, and the doctor began to sober up after I told him about Burl Hamilton, a minister friend of mine.

I met Burl at a church in Kemp, Texas where I was ministering in the year of 1992. He was in a body cast surrounded by wires and a couple of batteries and was using a walker to get around. Burl was only about 30 years old when he was hurt on the job that left him with two metal rods surgically placed to support his crushed spine. A group of his friends brought him to the service in hopes that a word from our Lord would help restore him back to his former self. However, what our Lord gave me for Burl was a message that God was going to send him to another and he would be healed.

Well, six weeks later, his friends and family took him to a Benny Hinn meeting and Burl was totally healed. In fact, they have x-rays from the surgery that showed the metal rods in his spine and another set after he received his miracle with the rods nowhere to be found. Totally gone!

Once he heard this story, he became very interested in what I had said about the Holy Spirit miraculously removing the rods. He was sobering up and wanted to know more about the Holy Spirit. You see, the doctor was Jewish and was in the 1967 Arab-Israeli 6 day war. He told me about a miracle he had experienced while flying a jet fighter. He told of how he was low on fuel and was returning to the base when his plane shut down, but it miraculously continued to glide for about 6 miles with no engine and no instruments. If you know anything about aircrafts what he was proclaiming was an awesome miracle of God. He wanted to know if this was the work of the Holy Spirit. When I told Him it was the Spirit of Jesus Christ, he broke into tears. I knew then that the doctor was now ready to receive the Holy Spirit. I lead him to Jesus and he was radically saved and filled with the Holy Spirit.

By that time the service was over and people began pouring out of the auditorium, filling the hallway where we were standing. Then an older woman I knew stopped and began to apologize for bringing the doctor who she had found standing on a bridge acting like he was going to jump off into the freezing water. I looked over at the man and his face looked like he had seen a ghost.

Then he began to weep and told us a story about when he was about 7 years old, he and his father were standing on the same bridge where the lady had found him. It was on that very bridge that he and his father were standing on when his Dad said, “Son, one day you will be standing on this bridge and your life will be changed forever.”

I am so blessed to have been a part of the fulfillment of this prophecy that Jewish father gave to his now Christian son. To this day I still preach from the same Holy Bible that the good doctor signed for me after his conversion.

I received the materials April, 2013. I completed the study during June, 2013. At the same time I had requested God’s Word from you. Good morning Reverend Kent,

Debbie and I prayed with an older lady last night in Oklahoma at the local skating rink while celebrating one of our grandsons birthday party. She had a lung disease. Our Lord said it was caused by the chlorine gas that comes from the water into her home from the city where she lives. When she runs hot water the chlorine when heated releases a gas that causes lung diseases as well as cancer.

She has never smoked being the good Pentecostal woman most all her life. God did heal her. And we all cried tears of joy as we stood before the lost and saved while under the heavy presence of His Spirit. Then a few others came sat down by Debbie and asked her to pray for them too.
