The last thing we need is to fall into one of Satan’s traps. When trying to hear the voice of God, the devil at times jams our mind with thoughts that can cause us to lose our blessings.
I have said it many times, “It is not enough to hear the voice of God, you need to know what He means.” You do not need the devil to be your interpreter of what God is saying; yet many times we fall victim to Satan’s scheme.
Have you ever had Satan beat you up with scriptures from the Holy Bible? You need to know when it is the conviction of the Holy Spirit and when it is condemnation from Satan. Who is the accuser of the brethren? Is it your mother, father, friend or pastor? Can we remove the plank from their eye?

Picking up Sticks
Have you checked your bank balance lately? Are your cupboards bare and lines of credit maxed out? Then you need to hear this story of a widow women and her son. A desperate mother living through a financial famine gathers a few sticks to build a fire to cook their last meal and then die.
So she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and DIE.”
I Kings 17:12
Now, along comes Elijah, the prophet, and has the audacity to ask this frail widow to feed him first. Prophesying that if she did this there would be enough food for all three of them to survive throughout the remainder of the famine.
And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son. For thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day of the Lord sends rain on the earth.’”
I Kings 17:13
At sometime or another we all have had someone tell us ‘GOD SAID’. Dropping names is one thing but to use the name of God to get what you want is extreme. In all fairness, we know that a true word from God can change one’s life in the blink of an eye. What do you suppose drove this widow women to share her last meal with Elijah?
Miracles & Healings
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
1 Corinthians 12:7-10
So many people today are in need of a financial miracle and/or healing of their body, marriage, or business. You name it, the needs are very real. Out of the nine spiritual gifts listed in the verses above the two that really stand out for our time are the working of miracles and gifts of healings. Most people you talk to say they would like to go back to the past decade when things were better.
The fact of the matter is, those past days were not really better. In fact, we were all deceived into thinking we were in a prosperity movement. We were NOT in a movement of prosperity, nor was God involved in what we thought were blessings. What was really taking place over the past few decades were fictitious assumptions that God was blessing our nation. When in all reality we were just creating huge debits and thinking we were being blessed by God. Now we are witnessing God restructuring our way of life and standard of living. When it is all said and done, we will no longer be enslaved to debt.

God’s Children
In the book of James, we find these words. “Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.”
Religion in itself is not bad, as some teach, but what you do religiously should be the question. All of the partners of Prophetic Ministries have contributed to these precious orphans and they are very thankful that you have given from your heart.
Many gifts were distributed to the children including bicycles. The younger children all received a pair of new shoes and clothes. Best of all two of the children and one of the visitors received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Faith for Grace
Andrea, my wife, and I went back to Hawaii in February 2002. Andrea provided her testimony at the “Insight to Success” meeting and ministered to all who attend.
We also ministered in three churches during our short stay. This message we took to Hawaii is a topic that is very special to Andrea and me. The value of grace has been lost over the years of teaching about what all we can do with the Scriptures. The truth of the matter is that God really would like to do more for His children and for us to do less. This video shows you how to receive God’s abundant grace which will make life a little easier.
My Andrea
Andrea Lynn Simpson (1959—2009)
“Affectionately, I referred often to my wife as my Andrea. She truly was my gift from God and a wonderful mother. She was a woman after God’s own heart and revealed her Christian upbringing in all that she did.” ~ Kent Simpson
Andrea Lynn Simpson, 50 years old, born in Rome, Georgia, to Reverend Wesley B. and Maratha Arnold. Her father was a Baptist minister for 26 years and a non-denomination pastor for another 10 years. Andrea was the middle child between four brothers. The Arnolds moved to various cities as Reverend Arnold was called to pastor at a number of churches. Savannah, Georgia was considered home to the Arnold family who all now live in Texas. Andrea was a graduate of Brewton-Parker Baptist College in Georgia, majoring in music.
Andrea’s surviving family are her husband Reverend Kent Simpson and daughter Savannah Mozelle Simpson of Gainesville, TX., step-daughter Jenny Lynn Sullivan and her husband, Chris Sullivan and two grandchildren, Keaton Sullivan and Julia Sullivan in Broken Arrow, OK., her Mother, Martha Arnold of NRH, TX., her brothers and sisters-in-law: Wesley and Vicky Arnold of NRH, TX, Lee and Carol Arnold of NRH, TX., Steve and Aimee Arnold of NRH, TX., Kenney and Rebecca Arnold of NRH, TX., along with a number of nieces and nephews.

Change is Coming FAST
When I was much younger everything was about change. It sounded so exciting to venture into the unknown. With little or no caution I plunged in with all the other young people headed for a new lifestyle. That was fine while I still had so many years remaining to correct myself if things did not turn out as planned.
Now that I am older and more set in my daily routine I don’t appreciate being forced to change my ways. In all reality, I must prepare for these changes that are coming down the line at a neck breaking pace. So many things will change in this coming year due to the world’s economic woes. Makes you wonder if there is stability in anything these days.
So many things will change in this coming year due to the world’s economic woes. Makes you wonder if there is stability in anything these days.
Here are a few items we can plan on slipping away in the next few months. The vast majority of banks will stop handling checks all your purchases will be made with your debit card and automatic withdraws for our regular monthly bills, no more cancelled checks in the bank statement, the government will reinstitute heavy taxation on fuel at the pump, an overnight increase of fifty percent per gallon to be levied with perpetual increases.
These inflationary tactics will drive the cost of everything much higher. It will be hard, but we must remain content and not confused, faithful not hopeless, grateful rather than discouraged. Time is too short, so make the best of what you have. After all, Jesus told us there would be days like this.
So You Want to be a Prophet?
A few years ago a good friend of mine asked me this question; “Why do people want to become prophets? If everyone knew what all you have been through walking in the office of a Prophet they would not want the job.” This was some years back and I have just now been released to share some the challenges facing anyone who is called to walk in accordance with God’s prophets.
First of all, I must reveal a few things about what the difference between those who prophesy and those who are called to be prophets of God. All prophets prophesy; however, everyone who prophesies is not automatically operating as a prophet. We also know that prophecy is used by God to edify, encourage and to build up the body of Christ. However, when a prophet of God begins to minister it is somewhat different. We always look for the positive in everyone’s life, but there are times when God has had enough.
All prophets prophesy; however, everyone who prophesies is not automatically operating as a prophet.
This is when the word of rebuke comes in and the hearer of the word is captivated. It is as if the Lord caused the recipient to become deaf and blind to His word.
Some time later when the word comes to light, the recipient knows they have been corrected and now have the choice of changing or turning against the word.
It is the word that judges not the messenger.
It is the word that judges not the messenger. Many times the prophet already knows what their decision will be and they will prepare for the hearer’s retaliation. The prophet must stand alone at this point and not allow emotions to enter into their thoughts. Waiting upon the Lord for instructions can be most difficult; nonetheless, a prophet worth their salt will wait upon the Lord for direction. Only when direction is given can the prophet move to safety.
Dull of Hearing
When I was called out by God to work in the ministry, part of my duties were to teach people that God is speaking; for many had become dull of hearing. So, I thought it would be a wise idea to go to the churches and teach on hearing God.
As I went to each church, I would ask the pastor if I could hold a Hearing Clinic in his church. Most of the pastors thought I would be offering hearing aides for sale. When I informed them that I was not selling hearing aides they wanted to know what I was offering. I told them I would be teaching the people how to hear the voice of God.
One pastor, whom I called upon replied, “You think you can hear God?” I said, “Yes sir I do.” The pastor picked up his bible and said, “Son, the only way you can hear God is by reading His word!” I waited a moment before replying. Then the Holy Spirit said, “Ask him if he is called to pastor this church.” So I asked the pastor and he said, “BLESS GOD, AMEN!” As he tucked his bible under his arm. Then the Holy Spirit said, “Ask him where his name is in the book.” As I was command, I ask the pastor and he slammed the door in my face.
Some 13 years later, I was finally invited to do my first Hearing Clinic, thanks to Pastor C. W. (Bill) Campbell in Batson, Texas.
Encountering Angels
We journeyed to Cleburne, Texas to minister at Calvary Chapel Baptist Church. Pastor John Hagen, the pastor of this congregation, is an old friend of mine. He has brought this congregation to a place now where they believe in Holy Spirit for today.
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
The time had come for the people to experience the power of prophecy and know more about the angelic host of God. Sharing many testimonies of my encounters as well as scriptures helped in their unbelief. All in all, the time was sweet and we were accepted.
Many received a word of knowledge and prophecy. A few of PMT’s graduates were in the congregation and were asked to come forward and prophesy. Their words were truly from God and the people were blessed to see that the gift can be imparted to another; as recorded in First Timothy 4:14.
Understanding that when our Lord Jesus sends us His word, it is deliver by one of His messengers, an angel.
Understanding that when our Lord Jesus sends us His word, it is deliver by one of His messengers, an angel. Recognizing that angels are appointed unto us to minister for us was a real eye opener. Reading from Hebrews 1:13,14, the Bible makes it clear that God assigns these angels to administer spiritual gifts for those who are His.
You may want to look up these verses and let God speak to you about His truth and the Angelic army warring on our behalf.
